Hi Guys,
We have faced this issue
in our environments i.e SOA 11.1.1.4
DB Insert failed due to
below errors.
BINDING.JCA-11616
DBWriteInteractionSpec Execute Failed Exception.insert failed. Descriptor name: [InsertCustomerEvent.CustomerEvent].Caused by java.lang.NullPointerException.Please see the logs for the full DBAdapter logging output prior to this exception. This exception is considered not retriable, likely due to a modelling mistake.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The error for the
Sample_APAR_Processing composite is this one:
Exception occured when
binding was invoked. Exception occured during invocation of JCA binding:
"JCA Binding execute of Reference operation 'insert' failed due to:
DBWriteInteractionSpec Execute Failed Exception. insert failed. Descriptor
name: [Insert_AP_Hdr_Rec.DhgtwyT]. Caused by java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException:
1. Please see the logs for the full DBAdapter logging output prior to this
exception. This exception is considered not retriable, likely due to a
modelling mistake. ". The invoked JCA adapter raised a resource exception.
Please examine the above error message carefully to determine a resolution.
This is a bug in SOA
11g till 11.1.1.4 and fixed in 11.1.1.6 version.
It is not reproducible outside of any other environments so Oracle suggested us the below patch.
DBADAPTER INSERT OPERATION IS
FAILING INTERMITTENTLY WITH NPE
DB Adapter Insert Operation
Failing Intermittently with NullPointerException or
ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException

The issue has resolved after applying the patch- Doc ID 1332114.1
